Abstrak

Hallux valgus adalah deformitas kaki bagian depan yang paling umum ditemukan, yang dapat membatasi pergerakan dan menyebabkan nyeri. Ada beberapa penyebab internal dan eksternal yang dapat memengaruhi perkembangan dan progresivitas dari hallux valgus.Metode terapi konservatif dan operatif harus ditentukan berdasarkan derajat keparahan dari bunion, dan juga penyakit yang bekaitan dengan kaki dan pergelangan kaki. Terapi konservatif hanya bisa dilakukan pada stadium awal untuk menghentikan keparahan hallux valgus. Terapi operatif hallux valgus secara teknis termasuk sulit dan memiliki risiko tinggi rekurensi dan komplikasi
